A 4-Week Advent Church-Wide Book Study and Sermon Series

Starting:

December 1- Sunday School 9:30am

December 4 - Breaking Bread Group 5:30pm

December 5 - Thursday 10:00am

All groups will meet in the Seeker’s Classroom. Everyone is welcome!

Pick up your book in the Church Office. A suggested donation for the book is $15.

The Women’s Circle Advent Dinner and Program will be held on Tuesday, December 3 at noon. It will be a covered dish luncheon and a fun skit, so please plan to attend.

You DO NOT have to be a circle member to join us! Although RSVPs are not necessary, it would help to know how many will attend so we know how many guests to plan for.

We have 5 children this year.  The Angel Tree will be in the Narthex.  Please take a tag, purchase your gift, return the gift unwrapped with tags attached.  Please return all gifts on/before Thursday Dec. 12th.  

Gifts will be wrapped on Sunday December 15th in the Seekers Class!  Volunteers are needed & welcome!

Rev. Dr. Huntley Brown returns to KUMC to share his musical talents and the Good News of Jesus! He will be joined by our Community Christmas Choir.

Mark your calendar for Rev. Dr. Huntley Brown's Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 14th at 4:00pm.

This concert is free. We will be collecting a Love Offering.

Our annual Elf Workshop (Children’s Christmas Shopping Event) will take place on Sunday, December 15th during the Sunday School hour. (9:30am - 10:45am)

We will need volunteers to shop with the children and help wrap and label gifts.

We’re still accepting gifts and we need gifts for men and boys the most. Please contact Cherie Carl for more info.

All children are welcome to “shop” for their family members!

The choir will be visiting RWC on Monday 12/16 at 10:30am to spread some Christmas cheer! Please join us for this special visit!

We will meet at KUMC at 10am to get ourselves organized, get the music, and then travel together to RWC.

Blue? Yes, blue as in the blues. Not everyone is up and cheery for the Christmas holidays.

Join us for Worship as we hold space for our grief, trauma, and heartache.

The children will share a Christmas program before at 10:30am on Sunday, December 22nd, right before the 11am Worship service.
