Sign up to sponsor alter flowers in 2024!
Do you have a special occasion, memorial date, or life event that you’d like to honor by sponsoring a week or two in 2024 for altar flowers? The cost is $55 for both vases, and you could share with someone else, too.
No specific Sunday in mind? Just let us know you’d like to help sponsor altar flowers and we can sign you up during the year when we have a free Sunday.
Questions? Contact Joanne at church office. THANK YOU! KUMC Flower Committee
What happens to the altar flowers if I don’t take them home?
Weekly we check with those sponsoring flowers and if not taken, members of the flower team signup to arrange and deliver vases of flowers to those who are grieving, sick, homebound, in rehabilitation or the hospital. Being able to bring a smile to someone’s face and express God’s love for them from KUMC , is our simple but powerful mission. If you’d like to join our committee, contact Cheri Bennett.

Kilmarnock United Methodist Church
will remain a United Methodist Congregation.
On Sunday, April 30, 2023, KUMC took a vote to determine if our congregation wished to remain a United Methodist Church or to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church. The result of that vote is that KUMC will remain a United Methodist Church. We will continue to be in ministry making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We thank God for the heritage of our church at KUMC. O God, send Your Holy Spirit to lead us forward and let us love one another as Christ has loved us. Amen.
